There’s no better way to introduce the new surf inspired collection of …LOST surf skates to the people of Brazil then to take it to one of the longest snake runs in the world and put on a contest of slashes, carves and airs.
The mastermind behind the …LOST Surf skates Matt “Mayhem” Biolos, and long time …LOST team rider/skate team manger Chad Shetler took the trip down to Brazil to witness the first ever …LOST surf skate contest in Porto Alegre, home of The Marinha skate park. With a snake run that’s over 500ft long and almost 30 years old it was a perfect place to pop up a tent, put a keg of beer on ice and throw a surfskate contest.
The day started off with the sun shinning and crowds gathering around to watch the local Brazilians throw it down.
Competitors made up lines in a mixture of skate and surf style slashes and airs down the snake run, with winners of each division taking home a bag of goodies and a new ...Lost surfskate.
