The GAME had 15,000 people packed onto the beach. (People with a vested interest were claiming 40,000 people on the beach - go to Angel or Dodger stadium if you wanna see 40,000 people at once!). 07/03/04-While people are still searching around for their next hit.... the D team’s other half (Chucky, Raul, Hobson, and Carlson) paddled out early last Sunday morning. The conditions were terrible and blown out. To top it off, the boys were pretty hung over from the night before. It sounds like perfect training for what they will be facing this summer following around the Surf Jam Tour.
Surprisingly everybody caught a few waves - except for Chucky. Please don’t think Chucky digs rail like this on a daily basis, it’s a little early for Chuck. Also Raul brought a big bag of swag and Chucky d

6/27/04 NSSA NATIONALS BANQUET. Dana Point CA at the Marriott. Dane Gudaskis as expected won the car. Clay Marzo rightfully won two titles despite bad wave selection. Aside from the NSSA proclaiming Alex Grey a "rockstar", the ceremony was a great experience for everyone. The best thing we saw was Kolohe Andino commandeering the stage and the mic to look for his little sister. We did our best to write down all the results and awards - although after 6 drinks, we were having trouble hearing and spelling the names with all the cheering going on. Here goes:

Double the Swell, Double the Classic
21st Annual Rincon Classic Provides Stellar Waves and Action
The waiting period paid off for the 21st annual Surf N Wear Rincon Classic, originally slated for the years first weekend, but held January 17-18.
