PAT HUBER AND HIS ONE MAN BAND
16 July 2005 AFTERSHOW REVIEW: "Pat has the cutest voice" screamed a group of girls near the stage. Fights broke out when a couple people tried to sit closer to the front. Pat's versions of Frank Black's "Calistan" and his Guns N Roses songs could be viewed as better than the originals.

HOLIDAY GREETINGS FROM CHRISTIAN FLETCHER
24 DECEMBER 2005 No explanation other than that he is in Tightwad. Matt Phillips sent us this video grab (sorry it's a phone pic). One can only guess why they were in Missouri. Within minutes of this posting - four of C.F's friends were emailing us to track him down. Christian will not let Matt Phillips - (Christian's childhood friend) - sell his boards on surfskatesupply.com because of a little argument. Matt sent us this pic to get back at Christian. "Give me my boards PLEASE. They are backordered, Tightwad. That's my money by the way and they were only ones in his hand."

TRUTH IN ADVERTISING
20 December 2005 You may ask yourself "why do guys switch teams?". Well in the case of Nate Yeomans, his clothing sponsor Billabong offered less money for 2006 than Rusty - so Nate is going to Rusty. Rusty makes surfboards, so Nate has to start riding Rustys.

Rusty team guy and blatant bullshi%%er Matt Shadbolt creatively writes in a press release to advertise a future new team rider:
San Clemente stud Nate Yeoman('s) crowning glory (is) taking down 3-time World Champion Andy Irons not once, but twice. Yeomans plans to continue this momentum with Rusty in 2006. “I’m st

LOST SURFBOARD AVISO MODELS
NEW FALL 05' Having problems with "friends" riding your surfboard down the stairs? Are you the guy who seems to get another ding every session? The Ferrari of surfboards is here. Thousand dollar (actually $1200) surfboards made out of helicopter wing materials are a bit stronger than what you are used to (and a bit lighter too). The strength is in the rails - versus the stringer on a normal board. The boards seem to keep their speed in the flats due to the stringerless flex, but put it back on a rail and it returns to shape. It kinda feels like those boards Tom Curren and Donovan

IN STORES APRIL 2005. Through extensive closed door research sessions with Chris Ward, Matt Biolos and the Lost design team, we have developed a BETTER no rash trunk. BETTER THAN ANYONE'S. Forget about slow drying, heavy waterlogged, overpriced neoprene paneled board shorts. Who needs airvent mesh, pseudo breathable panels and shapeless, stitchless overpriced gimmicks?

What you need is a rash free trunk that fits and hangs correctly while still giving you the freedom to perform. Stitches don't give rashes, hemlines give rashes.

...of course if you are surfing shorebreak an

The fifteen year old has been almost universally regarded as the best 15 year old in the world talent wise - but beatable almost every time in competition heats (mainly due to lack of experience). 17 year old Jesse Heilman finished runner up in the man on man final, waiting outside with priority as Adam picked up inside waves - which turned out to be a

ASR JANUARY 2005- SAN DIEGO, CA

1/26/2005- I can see how trade shows suck for people that work for other companies. Truthfully this show actually helped me appreciate my job with Lost a lot more, just let me explain. On the first day of the show I took a walk around and checked out each booth to see what kind of creative antics the other companies had to lure in their prey. Then it dawned on me that if I worked for someone like Quiksilver I would be stuck in the coprorate bro brah booth with a bunch of old men, that would get old real fast. Then I walked by all the poor guys over at Volcom that had to dress up like clown
